Business Services administers assessments to further screen the talent pool.
The assessment can be designed by the employer or the employer can choose from several screening tools available through Business Services.
Assessments range from general reading skills to industry specific knowledge standards.
Training & Retraining
Business Services helps qualified incumbent workers obtain training funding for certifications that will improve their value to an employer. Training dollars are also available for unemployed individuals to help them become marketable in the industry.
The on the job training program can pay a portion of a new hires hourly salary during the first few months to offset expensive training costs to obtain a skilled worker.

Job Fairs
Business Services conducts job fairs to offer job seekers a chance to apply for open positions while offering employers an opportunity to fill vacancies, network, and promote their products. Virtual online job fairs are also available.

Business Services posts jobs in our state-wide data base, Connecting Colorado and in the spreadsheet found at the bottom of this page.
Based on employer needs, the system will match job seekers to an employer and notify the job seeker to contact the Workforce Center. Job posting management can be controlled by the employer or it can be automated using US.jobs.com (Job Central).
