Great Location
With its involvement in FasTraks and excellent access to five major highways, two rail lines and DIA, Brighton will continue to attract interest from forward thinking transportation organizations.
As the geographic center of the Western U.S., Metro Denver is considered a major transportation hub. And of all the metro communities, Brighton may be best located to take advantage of that reputation. It sits in a transportation triangle, bordered on three sides by rail lines and major highways (E-470, U.S. Highway 85, and Interstates 25, 70 and 76). These routes provide superior access to all major metro area transportation corridors. More than 160 motor freight companies provide trucking services in the area. Backhaul rates out of the area remain lower than the national average and are very competitive.
Denver International Airport (DIA) is located just 15 minutes southeast of Brighton, and major rail lines border the city on the east and west sides. To the east, Burlington-Northern runs east/west and parallels Interstate 76. The western line runs along U.S. 85 from Denver to Greeley and Cheyenne. It is operated by Union Pacific.
