- Adams Crossing is a new 800-acre mixed-use community at the southern gateway to Brighton, on Interstate 76 and E470.
- The project will feature a balanced mix of commercial, retail, residential and civic uses, along with a regional open space trail.
- Adams Crossing will be a major employment center for Brighton and a premier site for renewable energy firms.
- Phase one breaks ground late this spring with construction of the new Adams County Government Center, a 90 acre, $94 million campus for approximately 1,200 employees. Phase two includes new multifamily residential and retail development.
- The developer of Adams Crossing is the Woodbury Corporation, a 90 year-old real estate firm based in Salt Lake City. Woodbury has a $1 billion portfolio of commercial properties, including office, retail and hotels. Many of their projects involve successful public-private partnerships with government and higher education.
- Conceptual planning is being led by CLC Associates, a full-service planning, architecture and engineering firm based in Denver.
